I've Joined the Founding Team at Graceful!
Yep, I decided to take one more startup swing. And here's why.
Hey Friends!
It’s finally time to share some news with you. I’ve decided to take one more swing at a startup, because let’s be honest, it’s who I am.
Six weeks ago, I joined the founding team at Graceful as Chief Marketing Officer!
The original idea for Graceful was brought to life by founder, Greg Rogers. I've had the pleasure of working with Greg since the beginning of the year (in a contract role).
Back then, Graceful was focused on providing a solution in the cryptocurrency market. Not exactly my thing, but I really liked Greg. I had a “feeling” about him — and Graceful — similar to how I felt when I first met Josh and started to brainstorm the concept of ShowClix.
Greg is a 2x founder, investor, and former Managing Director of Techstars London. As per the usual, I met him through The Fund community. In fact, The Fund Rockies made an early investment in Graceful.
Greg’s enthusiasm and passion for our product are contagious. He's an incredible leader who has an amazing ability to bring out the best in people. So when he called me six weeks ago and asked me to help take the startup in a new direction as Chief Marketing Officer, I was pumped.
What is Graceful, you ask?
Graceful is the one place to store and share the most important things — photos, videos, documents, future messages, and financial gifts.
We’re launching with a focus on creating the ultimate connection between parents and their children.
Graceful is the first digital vault, designed specifically for kids.
And it’s powered by augmented reality.
This is another reason I’m so excited about this opportunity.
Augmented reality is undoubtedly the future. Not only does AR have the potential to transform how we interact with the world, but it also allows us to create entirely new experiences. It’s a exciting frontier that I'm thrilled to be exploring.
I’m also incredibly excited about joining an exceptionally talented founding team.
While I loved the work I did on LaneSpotter, the one thing I missed the most was building and launching something with a team.
In addition to Greg, there are two amazingly talented engineers on the founding team — Brian Maher and Mike Hohne. These dudes are moving FAST. And you know I appreciate that!
Based in Bozeman, MT.
Greg, Brian, and Mike are based in Bozeman, which is a big bonus! I’m definitely excited to spend some time in this beautiful, super outdoorsy, town.
Not only is the team based there, but the company that’s manufacturing the physical component of Graceful, Autopilot, is also based there.
And guess what — the owner is from Pittsburgh! Of course.
My ask: Sign up for the waitlist!
I’d love to keep you posted as we creep closer and closer to launch in Q1 of 2023. Visit the website to join the waitlist.
